The Exhibitor Tasting for the Perth Royal Wine Awards was held today at the Claremont showground, with hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of individual wines that were entered into the Awards, including the winning wines. This event showcase the best of the best in Australian wine featuring a nationally and internationally renowned team of judges. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I had the opportunity to meet some of the judges and mingle with fellow exhibitors, industry representatives and other wine lovers. What a great way to taste your way through all the exhibitors’ wines discovering some new favourites and savouring old goodies.

Followed the Exhibitor Tasting was the Perth Royal Wine Awards presentation – where the bronze, silver and gold recipients were announced. ⠀
This year, Deep Woods Estate from Margaret River has collected seven trophies! And has taken out the coveted BEST WINE of the show Trophy with their 2018 Reserve Block 7 Shiraz. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
