My tasting notes:
A small percentage of the wine is aged in French Oak barrels to add just a touch of oak while allowing the fruit to sing. Expect hints of fresh cut grass with pineapple, lime, sea breeze. On the palate, enjoy the lively crispness, balanced by richness from the barrel fermented component. Flavours of pineapple, orange zest, shy nectarine and passionfruit with fresh herbs and hints of sea breeze salinity which I thought it was playing a second fiddle to the finish. It’s exhilarating and a little bit different from the typical New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc that I’m used to.

With friends or for daily meals, do not hesitate to open a bottle.
